Glass and Vessels
“Every bubble is a record of the breath that made it.”
Three glassblowers work the furnace at Vietri, as three have since 1958. The amber comes from iron in the local sand rather than from pigment, which is why no two vessels agree exactly on colour.
The house refuses to make matched sets. Each piece is sold as it leaves the annealing oven.
