Cut on the true bias from a charmeuse rested on the roll for a month, so the cloth has stopped moving before it is touched. Straps are adjustable and finished in the same silk.

Seams are French-finished and the hem is weighted with a single line of thread. There is no interfacing anywhere in the dress.
