Every house we stock has a version of this: a room where cloth sits, doing nothing, for weeks. It is the least photogenic part of the entire process and the part that most determines whether a garment holds.

Three words, one idea

Resting, relaxing and conditioning describe the same thing at different scales. Fibre that has been stretched wants to return. Given time and still air, it does. Denied time, it returns later, in the garment, on the customer.

There is no shortcut. Heat speeds it and ruins the hand. Steam speeds it and flattens the surface. Time is the only method that costs nothing except time.
